After much anticipation, I am finally assigned a FIG (Freshman Interest Group)! The name (like all the other Liberal Arts FIGs) is a Beatles song. I have yet to do some research on it. Nevertheless, things are going to get real interesting, considering that I will have to keep those liberal arts jokes to myself. To make things a bit more interesting, I think I will be telling engineer jokes! I really need to meet with the advisor as soon as I can! Meanwhile, my friend Wikipedia has given me some information about this song (and he’s willing to share… click here). Perhaps I should somehow tie this in!
